The Jakarta Eye Center (JEC) proudly presents the newest branch and the most state–of-the-art eye hospital in Indonesia: JEC @ Kedoya West Jakarta. The hospital will soon serve the public and fully operate in 2012.
It is a ten level building on 6000 m2 land located at Jl. Terusan Arjuna Utara No.1, Kedoya, West Jakarta. The hospital also applies international standards of Joint International Commission (JCI) and Kyoto Protocol.
Exclusive image is not only manifested in physical appearance. As JEC commits to provide five-star service at affordable price, all human resources of the hospital must deliver only the excellence to patients. As a proof of effort to give its best and to strengthen its position as an integrated eye health center, JEC established a number of subspecialty centers that include Glaucoma Center, Retina Center, LASIK and Refractive Surgery Center, Pediatric Center, and Eye Tumor and Oculoplasty Center.
Until 2010, JEC has earned full accreditation complete level from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, the ISO 9001:2008 certification by VNZ, has pioneered the establisment of ASEAN Association of Eye Hospital (AAEH), and be the first Indonesian eye hospital joined with the World Association of Eye Hospital (WAEH). The hospital targets to be the first eye hospital in Indonesia that will achieve international accreditation from JCI and to metamorphose into eye research center in Indonesia.
At the topping-off ceremony held on 1st February 2011, Secretary General of the Ministry of Health Republic of Indonesia Dr. Ratna Rosita, MPHM stated that JEC’s effort to improve quality in all areas should be followed by other hospitals. She also believed that people always pay close attention to health care institutions whose strong commitment to provide the best for the patients.
